I bought the paper making kit for my 14-year old who loves working with his hands. He instantly got to work, transforming old newspapers into beautiful handmade paper. He enjoyed the process. The thing with such kits is that they provide you with all the little things to just start making stuff, without the bother of gathering all the equipment and raw material ourselves. Plenty of hobby projects get abandoned midway when one doesn’t find a few things necessary for the project, or out of sheer lethargy to go find what’s needed. These hobby kits from Kitsters solve this crucial bottleneck. They make for great gifts too. I am picking up two more kits for my niece and nephew. I like the plastic-free packaging. Consider switching to paper sticky tapes instead of the brown cellophane tapes to seal the package.

Kitsers made my date with my 11 year old son magical! My son loved every bit of recycled kit. He decided to make one for himself, one for his father, one for me with dried flowers. We have been lovingly instructed by him to write hand written notes on them and give to each other. Can't wait for the papers to dry. We tried different colours, mixed the pulp and water together, tore papers and laughed through all of it ! If you are a parent and crave some special unique time with your children, go for this! I was toying with the idea of recycled paper for a long time and this was a step in a right direction. It helps understand paper making on a small scale before coming up with more ambitious ideas. I was however disappointed with the quality of the mould and deckle. The pictures on your site depict a smoother finished mould and deckle while the one I received was functional but given the amount of moisture it'll be subjected to I don't see it lasting very long. The sponge provided could have been better too, but it did the job for one round.
Overall a good product.
