Made to be made again

78 of our 147 kits have a refill, so the box you buy once keeps working. Here's what we do, plainly - and what we haven't cracked yet.

Where we stand

The numbers

Real figures from our catalogue, not projections.

78 refills Available across the range, so a kit doesn't end after one use
147 kits Each one right-sized, so we ship the contents and not the air
Mumbai Sourced and packed locally, which keeps the journey short
Since 2023 Every new kit is reviewed against the three rules below
Three rules

Our approach

Applied to every kit before it goes on sale.

Thoughtful materials

Every ingredient and component is checked for safety before it goes into a kit. Non-toxic first, always - these boxes end up on kitchen tables and in children's hands.

Less waste

Right-sized boxes, recycled filler where we can get it, and no decorative packaging that goes straight into the bin. If a layer isn't protecting something, it comes out.

Refill first

78 of our 147 kits have a refill. Buy the tools once, top up the consumables - it costs you less and it means one box, not five.

  • No single-use plastic
  • Recyclable packaging
  • Made in India
Refill, don't rebuy

Bought a kit? Buy the refill.

Same fun, a fraction of the packaging, and cheaper than starting over. It's the single most useful thing you can do here.

What we haven't cracked yet

We'd rather tell you this than put a green leaf on the box and hope you don't ask.

  • We're not carbon neutral

We haven't measured our footprint end to end, so we don't claim a number we can't show you.

  • Not every kit has a refill

78 of 147 do. The rest are on the list, and refills ship with new kits wherever the format allows one.

  • Some components still arrive in plastic

Food-safe and moisture-sensitive parts are the hard cases. We swap them out as we find alternatives that actually work.

The promise

Our commitment

Every kit we launch gets reviewed against the three rules above before it goes on sale, and every kit already on sale gets looked at again each year. When we find a better material, a smaller box or a refill that works, we change it - and we'll say so here rather than quietly.
