The Kitsters DIY Block Printing Kit introduces you to one of India's oldest and most beautiful textile traditions: Rajasthani wooden block printing and brings it home in a form that is accessible to a complete beginner. Dip the carved wooden block into fabric ink, press it firmly and evenly onto the tote bag, lift, and repeat. The result is a hand-printed textile with the distinctive character of traditional block printing, slightly imperfect, deeply tactile, and entirely handmade. 

Each impression is unique in the way only a hand-pressed print can be, and the finished tote is a wearable piece of craft heritage that you made yourself. The technique works on the included tote bag and extends to any fabric you want to print on t-shirts, kurtas, cushion covers, scarves, and more. The activity takes 15–25 minutes, the ink dries in 15–20, and the process is satisfying enough that most people immediately want to print on everything they own.
