The Kitsters DIY Tote Bag Painting Kit lets you design and paint a fully customised tote bag from scratch. Your colours, your patterns, your artwork, on a 100% cotton bag built to be used daily. The kit includes everything from the blank tote and fabric paints to carbon transfer paper for tracing designs, a fixer to make the paint permanent and washable, and a messy mat so your workspace stays clean.
The finished bag is a genuinely wearable, functional piece, not just a craft project that sits on a shelf. Paint a favourite motif, a quote, a pattern, or a freehand design; the carbon paper method means you don't need to be able to draw freehand to get a clean result. The whole activity takes 30–40 minutes, dries in under 20, and produces something you'll actually want to carry. Works as a solo afternoon project or as a group activity where everyone customises their own bag.
